Our arrival into Amman from London was seamless with one of their reps ready and waiting to escort us through the airport even before security. We were quickly handed over to our driver Abed, who was allocated to stay with us for the duration of our 12 day private tour in Jordan which we had booked over three months ago. He drove us safely to and from various historical sites, as well as several hotels, plus made himself available to answer queries at any time. His calm manner, experience and wealth of local knowledge was evident and invaluable since this was our very first visit to Jordan. The team were good at keeping in touch with us during the trip. Our tour guide at Jerash wasn’t great but that was not in the control of the tour company; in contrast, they managed to secure an excellent guide, Hassan, for our superb Petra tour. We had chosen all our own hotels for the accommodation throughout the twelve days in the different cities, except the one night we needed in Wadi Rum which I had left to WJT to recommend. Unfortunately, our experience with the campsite was very poor but the WJT team operations manager Alaa listened and dealt with our issues very empathetically and professionally. Despite these unfortunate events, we were very happy with the service we received from WJT and would not hesitate to wholeheartedly reuse and recommend their service to friends and family in the future.

We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Jordan organised by Why Jordan Tours. 12 days visiting all the major sites, interspersed with some wonderful visits to nature reserves with a bird guide. The tour was really well planned for us by Ethar and Enaan at Why Jordan. Both were also very helpful and easy to contact when our flights were changed and other accommodation changes were necessary. Our driver throughout was Hamza. He was also helpful, informative and great fun to travel with. We felt completely safe driving with him. Our bird guide, Malik, was also great fun and helpful at all the birding sites. Bird watching is still a developing activity in Jordan, but we really recommend it. We saw over 60 bird species on our trips, along with some stunning landscapes and rich flora. Highlights for us included Petra (of course), with another local guide, Hassan. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of this vast site. But we also loved the desert at Wadi Rum (our Bedouin guide, Odeh, also helped us with our bird spotting), swimming in the Dead Sea, and a stunning sunrise in a bird hide at Asraq wetland reserve. Malik and Hamza helped us with our food choices (warning - no such thing as a light lunch in Jordan!). Meals with them were another highlight. Most of all, we thank the friendly people of Jordan. Everyone we met was polite and hospitable. Despite all the troubles around them, Jordan feels an entirely safe and welcoming destination. Do visit.

The company was very responsive when we contacted them to organize our trip. They customized the trip based on our needs and catered the trip with some tricks that we wouldn't have done it ourselves I.e. staying in a city to start the day early on and avoid wasting time. From arrival to Jordan we were met with a representative from the company named Ahmed who helped from the passport control phase up and till hotel check in making sure that everything was smooth. Throughout the trip we were accompanied by one of the best drivers named Yazan who is fully aware of the country, places to visit, culture....etc. and was very helpful throughout the trip. If it wasn't for Jazan our trip wouldn't have been the same. Except for one hotel that the company chose all the hotels were pretty good and when we showed dissatisfaction with that hotel the company was able to solve for what happened shortly after with the minimum disruption of the trip. In one of the tours to Petra the company provided us with a local guide named Hassan who went above and beyond and was able to answer our endless questions about the place and history.

They were expecting us to the airport, they assisted us from passport control to hotel check in. They made sure along the whole trip that everything was perfect.they organised the perfect tour in Jordan for us!!!!

The visit to Jordan was definitely much better because of Why Jordan Tours. They were very attentive to each detail of the trip; we stayed in touch through the itinerary and made sure that everything went as planned.
