There are several sites around Madaba you could visit. You could enjoy a city tour of Madaba, with visits to the Madaba Museum, Archaeological Park, St George Church and Apostles Church. Mt. Nebo, Bethany and the Ma’In Hot Springs are close by as well. If you like to visit Amman, we recommend to park the car in Amman and take taxi’s to the sites around as it can be quite hectic to drive here yourself. You could also choose to do a day tour of the North, visiting Um Qais, Ajlun Castle and Jerash. Or if you are more into seeing castles you could go to the Eastern desert of Jordan and do a day of exploring the beautiful Desert Castles. If you are looking for more adventure you could go to Wadi Mujib for a canyon hike through waterfalls and rivers. The self-guided Siq Trail takes around 2-3 hours. Having a rental car means you are free to choose which sites you prefer to visit. Let us know your preferences and we can suggest a more detailed day by day program for you.
